Netflix has finally dropped the trailer of its much-anticipated action film Extraction. The Russo Brothers production stars Chris Hemsworth as a mercenary for hire as he goes on to save the son of an imprisoned drug lord. Sam Hargrave has directed Extraction.
Hemsworth as Tyler Rake looks like he is on his hardest mission ever in the trailer. And it isn't just the fighting that poses the problem but the added responsibility of saving a young boy's life. The film has done it's shooting intensively in India and Bangladesh. It also stars Randeep Hooda, David Harbour, and Manoj Bajpayee in pivotal roles. The official synopsis of the film reads, "But in the murky underworld of weapons dealers and drug traffickers, an already deadly mission approaches the impossible, forever altering the lives of Rake and the boy."
Chris Hemsworth previously apologized to his Indian fans for not being able to visit India before the film's release. Hemsworth was to visit India with director Sam Hargrave to promote the film as it was shot in Mumbai and Ahmedabad. In a short statement, Hemsworth took to social media and said, "Namaste India, Chris Hemsworth here, coming to you all the way from Australia. I was incredibly excited to come to India and to celebrate the movie where it was filmed. My time in your country during production was unforgettable and I was so looking forward to returning. But as you know, with all the things happening in the world, I too am home, like you."
