The three will greet fans in Thanjavur's famed Brihadisvara Temple. Thanjavur fans have arranged a big welcome for their favorite performers, and the city has also gone into festival gear. 'Ponniyin Selvan' depicts the narrative of the Chola monarchy, and the film is set in Thanjavur, the Chola dynasty's capital. As the film's release date is only two weeks away, the producers have begun a promotional tour in Thanjavur.
