Actress Chitrangda Singh has started shooting for Goutam Ghose's next Indo-Italian yet-to-be-titled film. She is playing the lead role in the film. The film also stars Italian actor Marco Leonardi, known for his work in the acclaimed movie 'Cinema Paradiso'. She is well-known for her roles in the films "Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi," "Yeh Saali Zindagi," "Baazaar," and "Modern Love Mumbai."
The movie is being made in English, Hindi, and partly in Italian. The film centers on the story of a couple and their young kid as it explores concerns of human displacement. The actress features in the movie with a de-glam style in the movie's first trailer. Chitra appears elegant and attractive while wearing a simple orange saree. The actress appeared to be with minimum makeup.
The production house put out an official statement regarding the shooting. It read, "Chitrangda is that rare combination of beauty with talent. She has proved her mettle as an actress. We are very thrilled to work with her. The role is quite challenging but we are confident that Chitrangda will bring a unique singularity to the role."
The pandemic caused a significant disruption in the movie's production. The filming for the movie had begun back in 2019. A significant section of the shoot will take place in Mumbai and Jabalpur now that the team has commenced work.
The script for the movie was written by Goutam Ghose. Jagannath Guha, Amedeo Paganini, and Sergio Scapagnini, also contributed to the screenwriting.
