Chiranjeevi clarifies about the false news circulating on his mother Anjana Devi

As we are facing the coronavirus pandemic, the government has made it mandatory to not get out of the houses and stay at home for sure. If someone wants to get out due to any urgent circumstances, they should wear a mask for sure. Thus, everyone who is stepping out of their houses is wearing masks from the last few days. Meanwhile, there is a shortage of masks in the market. To help the people who are in need, many NGOs are taking up the job of making masks at their homes and are providing them to the needy. Recently, media houses reported that Megastar Chiranjeevi's mother Anjana Devi made around 700 masks, along with her friends. But Chiru has clarified that there is no truth in that news. He said that it is not his mother but thanked the original one who did this great work.

Clarifying the news as a false one, Chiru tweeted, "It is reported in the press & some media channels that my mother is doing this humanitarian work. I humbly seek to clarify that it is not my mother but whichever mother is engaged in this great act of compassion I heartily thank her for such kindness." Chiranjeevi's mother Anjana Devi is currently spending time with her family members at Chiru's home. Chiranjeevi is also doing his bit in fighting this deadly virus. He has donated more than a crore towards the CM relief funds. He has also set up Corona Crisis Charity (CCC) to help the poor cine workers of the Telugu film industry.
