Many celebrities have risen to the need of the hour and donated money to charities working towards Coronavirus relief. Previously Ryan Reynolds donated USD 1 million along with his wife to provide relief across Canada and America. Now actress Angelina Jolie and model Kylie Jenner have both donated USD 1 million dollars each to various charity organizations. Jolie donated her USD 1 million dollars to an organization known as No Kid Hungry. The charity aims to provide food to underprivileged children in America.
Kylie Jenner made her contribution to hospitals in Los Angeles. Jenner has made the donation for hospitals to buy more protective gear and the necessary equipment to fight off against Coronavirus.
Angelina Jolie spoke to E. News and said, "As of this week, over a billion children are out of school worldwide because of closures linked to Coronavirus."
"Many children depend on the care and nutrition they receive during school hours, including nearly 22 million children in America who rely on food support. No Kid Hungry is making resolute efforts to reach as many of those children as possible," the actress added.
Kylie Jenner's doctor also made a comment on the contribution. He wrote, "One of my patients, a beautiful living angel just donated USD 1,000,000 to help us buy hundreds of thousands of masks, face shields, and other protective gear which we will have delivered directly to our first responders, as too many masks at hospitals are disappearing before making their way onto the faces of our front line heroes."
Jenner responded saying, "I love you! And thank YOU for all the love and care you put into everything that you do! You're an angel on earth. "
