The coronavirus pandemic is affecting all the industries very badly. The most affected among them is the entertainment industry. All the films across the world, which were initially slated for release in this season, are getting postponed now. Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar was actually supposed to arrive on March 24th with his new film Sooryavanshi. But now, the team has pushed the release. We hear that they are planning to release it on May 22nd, on the occasion of Eid.
Already, Salman Khan's Radhe and Akshay Kumar's Laxmmi Bomb booked their slots for Eid. Apparently, now Akshay is thinking of pushing the Laxmmi Bomb to a later date and release Sooryavanshi in its place. If that happens, it will be Salman Vs Akshay, Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh (the latter two played extended cameos in Sooryavanshi) at the box office on this Eid. Currently, not call got taken and we will get an official announcement in the coming days.
Radhe is being directed by Prabhu Deva and features Disha Patani in the female lead role. Randeep Hooda is playing a key role in this movie. On the other hand, Sooryavanshi got helmed by Rohit Shetty. Katrina Kaif played the female lead in the film while Karan Johar has bankrolled the project.
