Touted to be the sequel of blockbuster movie KGF: Chapter 1, Yash starrer 'KGF 2' is undoubtedly one of the most awaited movies in the industry. The movie is gearing up for a grand worldwide release on October 23rd. The film unit released the official announcement on the same yesterday. With the official announcement, everyone is so clear now about the release timing. The film unit is happy in many ways that the film is getting ready in an interesting manner.
The movie will get released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages. Directed by Prashanth Neel who previously KGF, the movie is going to feature Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon in crucial roles. Hombale Films is bankrolling this project. As per the latest reports, KGF Chapter 2 is going to clash with superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming movie 'Annaatthe' at the box office. Billed to be a family action entertainer, directed by Siva, the film is going to get released in Telugu and Tamil languages on October 23rd. The film's shoot is fast progressing in Hyderabad. The makers want to wrap up the shoot in less time and want to focus on post-production.
We already know that Rajinikanth has a solid market in Sandalwood as well. But, as 'KGF: Chapter 2' is a pan-Indian movie, the makers can't postpone the release. So, we have to wait and see if the makers of 'Annaatthe' will back out from the race or go forward to have a clash with 'KGF 2'.
