She played a cameo role in Ayushmann Khurrana starer 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan' and an extended cameo in Vicky Kaushal's 'Bhoot: The Haunted Ship Part One'. As per the latest reports, the actress has now got an opportunity to act in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's production very soon. A new filmmaker is going to helm this project and Bhansali's production house will back this film. It seems like the movie is an interesting Women Oriented subject and Bhumi is playing the hero role in Akshay Kumar backed 'Durgavati' which is a horror-comedy. The source added that it is a good time for her to pick up Women Oriented subject under Bhansali's production.
The actress's previous outing 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' starring Kartik Aaryan became a decent hit at the box office and she is also busy shooting for Varun Dhawan's 'Mr. Lele and also is a part of Karan Johar's upcoming multi starer magnum opus, 'Takht'.
