Bollywood actor Nana Patekar who played the antagonist role in Rajinikanth’s 'Kaala' has been staying away from films. This is after Tanushree Dutta's allegations against him in the #MeToo movement. The actor is back to acting now.
As per the latest reports, he is going to play a crucial role in Jayam Ravi’s 25th film, tentatively titled as 'Jana Gana Mana'. I. Ahmed is helming this project. Initially, Nana Patekar is on board to act in Akshay Kumar’s 'Housefull 4' but after the sexual harassment charges against him, the makers replaced him with Rana Daggubati. Now, Nana is testing his luck with this upcoming Tamil movie.
Taapsee Pannu, Elnaaz Norouzi, Ram, Rahman, MS Bhaskar, and Dayana Erappa are playing crucial roles in the movie. The movie will release in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada languages in 2020.
