Black Widows trailer: Shamita Shetty, Mona Singh, and Swastika Mukherjee will cross all barriers to attaining freedom; WATCH

After releasing a bunch of hit series, Zee5 is back with yet another show which looks as promising and unconventional as others. The trailer of Black Widows has dropped today which stars leading female actors such as Shamita Shetty, Mona Singh, and Swastika Mukherjee. This will mark the digital debut of Shamita Shetty as she plays the role of one of the wives in the show. The trailer starts with the suppressed lives of three housewives who decide to go to any lengths to attain social freedom. By killing their husbands in a bomb last, will their journey of self attainment and freedom go a long way, or will they end up behind the bars?

Apart from these leading ladies, the show also sees Raima Sen as a female cop. Black Widows has been directed by Birsa Dasgupta and produced by Big Synergy Media Ltd & Namit Sharma. Even the male starcast looks impressive with Sharad Kelkar, Aamir Ali, and Parambrata in the lead roles. This Indian adaptation of the show is the eighth one as earlier it has been remade in countries such as Ukraine, Estonia, Lithuania, the Middle East, Mexico, Scandinavia, and the Czech Republic. The show will release on the 18th of December on the Zee5 streaming app.
