Bigg Boss fame Tharshan bags Malayalam remake of Android Kunjappan V5.25

Tharshan, who participated in the third season of Bigg Boss Tamil, rose to prominence for his straight forward attitude. It has been over a since Bigg Boss Tamil Season 3 ended but the actor is yet to announce his upcoming film. Now, it looks like Tharshan Thyagarajah has now signed a Tamil remake of Malayalam film. He is all set to play the lead role in the Malayalam super hit film Android Kunjappan V5.25.The Tamil remake is bankrolled by producer KS Ravikumar. He will also double up as Tharshan's father in the Tamil remake.

Directed by newcomer Saravanan and Sabari, the film's shooting will go on floors in February. Saravanan and Sabari were erstwhile assistants to KS Ravikumar. Popular comedian Yogi Baby has been roped in to play a pivotal role in the film. According to Wikipedia, the story of Android Kunjappan V5.25 is as follows: "Bhaskara, a conservative villager, hates the idea of his son relocating to Russia for a job. However, when his son brings a robot to care for him, he develops an unlikely bond with the machine."
