Beyonce, Solange undergo test for breast cancer after father's diagnosis

Beyonce's Father Mathew Knowles had recently revealed that he got diagnosed with breast cancer. Following this news, both Beyonce and sister Solange tested for mutated BRCA2 Gene.

In an interview Mathew told presenter Michael Strahan that the first call he made after getting the life changing news was to his daughters. He warned them that they could be carriers of the same Gene that causes cancer. He said, "the first call was to my family, because this is genetics-it means that my kids have a higher chance, a higher risk, even my grandkids have a higher risk and they should handle it like they should-they went and got the test." He also told, "breast cancer has been prevalent in my family. My mother's sister died of breast cancer.... Breast cancer has been all around me. My wife's mother has breast cancer too. The results of Beyonce and Solange's test are revealed yet and we just hope the sisters are healthy and fine.
