Babil Khan Hails Irrfan For His Acting Abilities And Claims To Have Studied And Observed Him
Babil Khan, who made his Bollywood debut with the film Qala, has spoken out about his father Irrfan Khan's acting abilities and how he draws inspiration from him.
Popular Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan lost his battle with colon cancer more than two years ago. His performances in movies like Piku, Life of Pi, The Lunchbox, Paan Singh Tomar, and Slumdog Millionaire, to name a few, are what made him most well-known.
Irrfan Khan's son Babil Khan has entered the world of Bollywood in an effort to uphold the legacy. The movie Qala marked Babil's film debut.
Babil Khan and Tripti Dimri play crucial roles in the Anvita Dutt Guptan-directed film Qala. On December 1, the film was made available on Netflix.
The majority of critics who have seen this movie have praised it highly. The news agency PTI quoted Babil as saying, “I don’t want to define myself because I am too young and inexperienced to know what I want or what I want to explore. I keep my mental state such that I am ready to adapt and explore… To see how I am changing, and growing. I am here to explore everything. I am too young to know what I want to do.”
Babil said of working with his father Irrfan, “I was raised on a film set. I would visit him on sets of Thank You, Talvar. On Qarib Qarib Singlle, I was a camera intern, so I watched him closely.”
“Without knowing, your mind grasps experiences and it plays in a subconscious state. I would not say that I sat down and analyzed him. I was learning just by watching him,” he continued.
Anushka Sharma, a prominent Bollywood actress, had a cameo appearance in the film Qala, and her outfit has gone viral. In the movie, Anushka appears in a grey montage set to the song "Ghodey Pe Sawaar."
