Ayushmann Khurrana Tells That He Is Happiest On Sets: When I Am At The Sets, I Am Full Of Energy With A Little Adrenaline Rush In Me

Ayushmann Khurrana, the star of Vicky Donor, is loved by all. T the person who has elevated "parallel" or non-mainstream movies. His blockbuster movies like Badhaai Ho, Dream Girl, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, and many others have exposed the supposedly taboo subjects to the public, normalizing them in society.

Ayushmann Khurrana was asked about what motivates him to act in the Bollywood Hungama Actors 2022 hosted by Astroyogi. He responded, “I am happiest on the sets. I might be super grumpy, and lazy at my home or maybe when am with my family. However, when I am on the sets, I am full of energy with a little adrenaline rush in me.

He added when asked about his journey to the Bollywood industry, “I always wanted to be an actor. I wouldn’t say that this was the only thing I wanted to do as I have dabbled in a lot of professions. I started as a journalist, then a radio jockey, followed by a television presenter, and have also maintained a blog. I had my plan A, B, C, and D laid out as I am very practical in that sense. This gives me the utmost happiness.

“For me, it is very important to live life and not live in a bubble. I believe, to be an actor, one needs to experience more so that those experiences can be reflected in your work. I like living life from the basic level, to get connected with the people, to meet new people, and to travel”, he said while discussing how an actor is developed.

When further questioned about whether his opinions had remained the same over time or altered, he responded, “It had always been the same with me. When we used to do street theatres, we had to travel the length and breadth of the country by second-class sleeper trains where we used to meet different people from different states, due to which I had varied experiences in my teens which led to plenty of fodder for creativity".
