The Golden Globes 2023 in Los Angeles gave the movie "Naatu Naatu" the prize for Best Song, which RRR witnessed a week earlier. SS Rajamouli, Jr. NTR, and Ram Charan were in the presence, as was music composer MM Keeravani. Both of the lead actors expressed a desire to collaborate in Marvel films someday on the red carpet.
Variety reported on Monday that on January 10, during Billboard's official Golden Globes after-party, one of their journalists introduced Jr. NTR to top Marvel Studios producer Victoria Alonso. The two of them had a brief conversation during which it appeared that NTR was moving in that direction.
Jr. NTR wore a classic black tuxedo by Ralph Lauren to the Golden Globes 2023. He spoke about his desire to work in a Marvel film when he spoke to Variety on the red carpet. “I would love to do this film, my fans are already going crazy with this idea. I love Iron Man; he is so relatable, and he is someone like us. He does not have superpowers. He doesn’t come from a different planet. He’s not someone who has been put through a science experiment.”
Even Ram Charan declared that he would be interested in playing a superhero. “Absolutely. Captain America! Why not? We also have amazing superheroes in India. Why not invite one of our superheroes to come here?”
On the professional front, Jr. NTR will shortly start filming his upcoming NTR 30 under the direction of Koratala Siva of Janatha Garage. The movie will premiere on April 5, 2024. Additionally, he will star in NTR31, which Prashanth Neel, the director of KGF, will helm.
