Asif Ali Starrer Looks Like A Surefire, Jeethu Joesph Thriller In The Making.

The trailer for filmmaker Jeethu Joseph's Kooman is out now, and it appears like the Drishyam director is back with another small-town mystery thriller. Asif Ali, last featured in Roschach, is playing the part of Giri Shankar, a Civil Police officer. The film has a similar feel to Dirshyam. However, the offence in Kooman is stealing, not murder. Giri, who is troubled by the crimes, realises an unknown individual is stalking him.

In addition to Asif Ali, Ranji Panicker, Baburaj, and Jaffar Idukki play important parts in Kooman. KR Krishna Kumar authored the script, as did Jeethu Joseph's last film, 12th Man. Kooman will be released in theatres on November 4th.

Meanwhile, the news is out that Jeethu Joseph and Drishyam actor Mohanlal will rejoin for the franchise's third instalment. Producer Antony Perumbavoor announced a few weeks ago that the narrative of George Kutty and his family would continue.
