The emotionally charged action comedy Yaanai was a huge hit in theatres and on streaming services, giving Arun Vijay a huge taste of success. And now the actor is back with Sinam, his newest movie, which will be released on September 16th.
In this intense thriller, Arun Vijay plays a cop who has problems controlling his rage. Pallak Lalwani plays the lead role in the movie, which is directed by GNR Kumaravelan of Haridas fame. Arun Vijay will be back in theatres on October 5th with the release of his film Borrder, which comes after this one.
This year, Arun Vijay has released three films: Oh My Dog, which debuted exclusively on Amazon Prime in April, Yaanai, which hit theatres in July. The web series Tamil Rockerz, which recently debuted on SonyLIV, came after that.
The actor is working on a few projects, and one of them, which was finished more than two years ago, will soon be released in theatres. On September 16, GNR Kumaravelan's film Sinam, which he also directed, will be released.
Arun, who was ecstatic, tweeted about it on his Twitter page, "Here it is!! A story that needs to be told!! #Sinam releasing worldwide on Sept 16th (sic)."
The actor plays a police officer whose family is everything to him in the film. The theme of the movie is how he decides to exact revenge on a few people who turned his life upside down. In contrast to certain cop movies, Arun will portray a regular officer with restraints. The movie is expected to be a game changer for Arun Vijay.
