Arun Vijay's film with director Hari goes on floors

Arun Vijay had a second lease of life when director Gautham Menon's Yennai Arindhaal starring Ajith released. He played the role of Victor, who is the main antagonist. The reception he received for his role in the film was something Arun Vijay would cherish for a lifetime. Post Yennai Arindhaal, he has been choosing scripts with solid content , which will help him earn a good name among the audience. He was last seen in director Karthick Naren's Mafia: Chapter 1, which received mixed reviews from the audience and critics alike. We had earlier reported that Arun Vijay has joined hands with director Hari for a film.

For the uninitiated, director Hari is Arun Vijay's brother-in-law. This is the first time that Arun Vijay has teamed up with Hari for a film, which is tentatively titled AV 33. The film is produced by Drumstick Productions who had bankrolled films like Trisha Illana Nayanthara, Imaikaa Nodigal, En Aaloda Seruppa Kaanom and Igloo. This film, which will be wrapped up in a few months will release in August 2021. The shooting of the film began on March 3 with a customary pooja in Chennai. Priya Bhavani Shankar will play the female lead in this commercial entertainer.
