Directed by Indu VS, '19(1)(A)' was selected in the non-competition category of the 45th Moscow International Film Festival. The film 19(1)(A), which won the FIPRESCI award at the recent IFFK, has brought out a socio-politically relevant theme through a woman's angle on a familiar and local story. The film was screened at many small and big film festivals in Kerala. Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menon played the lead roles in Indu VS's film.

Actress Nithya Menon said that the film's invitation to Moscow is a confirmation of that belief and a recognition of all those who worked on this film. S. opined that the film is reaching a new audience again through the Moscow International Film Festival.
