AR Rahman and Anushka roped in for Santosh Sivan's directorial
Santosh Sivan who is known for his technical brilliance and top notch photography lauded with many awards. His collaboration with Maniratnam delivered some most amazing visual wonders that can ever watch. His work in Thapathi remembered for a lifetime. His collaboration with AR Murugadoss for the movie Thuppakki starring Thalapathy Vijay in the lead role was also garnered for his visual brilliance. He is back on track with the movie Chekka Chivantha Vaanam directed by Maniratnam for which he handled the camera.
Santosh Sivan apart from photography he also directed few films in the past. He is now helming a mythological flick based on Lord Ayyappa. This movie will be made in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi. Sree Gokulam Gopalan bankrolling this project states as we all know Santosh Sivan who is very well versed in cinema one pioneers in DOP, this film based on Ayyappa will have different taking which is very unusual compared to previous takes on Ayyappa. For this big-budget film, Baahubali fame Devasena Anushka and IsaiPuyal AR Rahman roped in. However other cast and crew details are unknown, will be revealed very soon.
Currently, the team is busy in the pre-production process, it is expected that film to hit the shooting floors from August or in the first week of September. On the work front Santosh Sivan working as DOP for Thalaivar166 project directed by AR Murugadoss. He worked with Superstar Rajinikanth in the past for the film Thalapathi. AR Rahman composing music for Thalapathy63 directed by Atlee and Anushka after Baahubali series she was last seen in horror based movie Bhagamathi.
