Ever since its launch last year, Apple TV+ has come up with many acclaimed shows and films. The recent addition to its catalogue is the comedy series, Ted Lasso. It got premiered recently and received wide acclaim from the critics as well as the viewers. Now, the streaming platform has announced the sequel of it even before the first season has ended. We hear that season 2 will start airing next year.
The series got co-written by Jason Sudeikis and Bill Lawrence. It deals with the story of a football coach named Ted Lasso. Without having any prior experience, he gets appointed as a head coach for a professional team in England. The consequences of his appointment form the main crux of the story. Ted Lasso started on the 14th of August. The first three episodes got premiered and received wide acclaim. The subsequent episodes will release every week until October 2. The cast of the show included Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Nick Mohammed Brendan Hunt. Jason Sudeikis also worked as an executive producer of the show, along with Bill Lawrence under Doozer Productions, in association with Warner Bros.
