One of Bollywood's most adaptable actresses is Anushka Sharma. She made her acting debut in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. It is a popular love movie from 2008 starring Shah Rukh Khan, and gained notoriety with the 2010 movie Band Baaja Baaraat. With Chakda 'Xpress, the actress—who has been absent from the big screen for a while. This will make her onscreen return. She will play the role of Indian lady cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
Anushka has been working hard to prepare for the movie and frequently posts photos and videos to her social media accounts. Recently, the actress posted a new still from Chakda 'Xpress with the caption: "A moment from a story that needs to be told! Anushka can be seen in the picture acting out a scene from Jhulan's life. She may be seen talking on the phone as it pours down rain everywhere around her. It is produced by Karnesh Sharma's Clean Slate Films and helmed by Prosit Roy.
Anushka wrote the following in January when the film was revealed and the teaser was published: “Chakda Xpress is inspired by the life and times of former Indian captain Jhulan Goswami. It will be an eye-opener into the world of women’s cricket. At a time when Jhulan decided to become a cricketer and make her country proud on the global stage, it was very tough for women to even think of playing the sport. This film is a dramatic retelling of several instances that shaped her life and also women’s cricket.”
