Anupam Kher Joins Dileep's Voice Of Sathyanathan

Veteran Bollywood actor Anupam Kher has been roped in to play an important role in Dileep's upcoming Malayalam film, Voice of Sathyanathan. The film is directed by Raffi, who had earlier helmed superhit films such as Punjabi House and Thenkasipattanam. Voice of Sathyanathan marks their reunion and the film's shooting is currently underway. According to reports, Voice of Sathyanathan is tipped to be a comedy-drama. Anupam Kher is not new to Malayalam films. He had earlier acted in films like Praja, Pranayam, and Kalimannu.

Speaking to Kochi Times, the director said, "Dileep is playing the role of Sathyanathan, a youngster, and an entrepreneur. He does the business of old furniture. He is a common man but is also someone who speaks to make others happy. This story shows an incident that happens in his life. Kettyolanu Ente Malakha fame Veena Nandakumar plays the heroine in the film. This film handles a serious subject, just that its treatment would be wrapped in humor. There won’t be any scenes lined up just for the sake of comedy." The film also features Jagapathi Babu, Veena Nandakumar, Joju George, Siddique, Prakash Raj, Makarand Deshpande, Jaffer Sadiq, and Johny Antony in supporting roles.
