Anirudh Ravichander Is Back To Bollywood With Jersey Remake

Anirudh Ravichander has been quite busy composing for multiple projects. The latest update is that the makers of the Hindi remake of Jersey have roped in Anirudh to compose music for the film. Jersey will feature Shahid Kapoor to play the lead role in the film. Previously, it was reported that music composer duo, Sachet-Parampara was roped in to compose music for the film. However, director Gautam Tinnanuri, who directed Jersey in Telugu felt that Anirudh Ravichander was the soul of the film. Hence, he felt that his work would enhance the film much more. Jersey follows the story of Arjun, played by Nani, a cricketer who tries to get back to the sport in the mid-30s.

After the film's success, Jersey is being remade in Hindi with Shahid Kapoor playing the lead role. The shooting is currently underway and is expected to hit the theatres later this year or early next year. On the work front, Anirudh Ravvichander is waiting for the release of Sivakarthikeyan's Doctor, which will release in theatres on October 9. Some of his upcoming films in Kollywood include Vijay's Beast, Sivakarthikeyan's Don, Kamal Haasan's Vikram, Jr NTR's next with Koratala Siva Dhanush's Thiruchitrambalam and Vijay Sethupathi's Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal.
