Anil Ravipudi And Balakrishna's Film Gets Its Leading Lady

Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna recently managed to score a massive hit with Veera Simha Reddy. The movie was the second consecutive success for Balayya after Akhanda, which was also a massive hit. While VRS is directed by Gopichand Malineni, Akhanda is directed by Boyapati Srinu. VRS overtook Akhanda's collections to become the career-best film for Balayya. Balayya is currently focused on director Anil Ravipudi's film. Director Anil Ravipudi declared earlier that the film would be different when compared to his regular comic entertainers. He said that he intends to do a serious film with Balayya. Sree Leela will be seen as Balayya's daughter in the film. The leading lady of the film has now been finalized as well. Kajal Aggarwal has been finalized as the leading lady opposite Kajal.

Kajal had taken a brief break from films, following her pregnancy and the birth of her son, Neil Kitchlu. She is now back to doing films and is ready to be paired opposite senior actors. The film will mark the first time collaboration between Balayya and Kajal, and between Anil and Kajal as well. The music for this film will be provided by SS Thaman, who also scored the music for Akhanda and Veera Simha Reddy. On the other hand, Balayya is expected to begin shooting for his fourth film with director Boyapati after he wraps up this film. The film is said to have a heavy political message. The film is also expected to be released ahead of the 2024 Andhra Pradesh elections.
