Actor-filmmaker Satish Kaushik, who passed away in March, was remembered by his friend and colleague Anil Kapoor on April 13. It would have been Kaushik's 67th birthday. Kapoor shared a video montage of the two actors in various films, including "Mr. India" and "Ram Lakhan," as well as several photographs. Anil also included some of Satish's famous lines and scenes from films. They were from films like "Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai" and "Gharwali Baharwali". Tas well as clips from "Deewana Mastana" where Kaushik played Pappu Pager.
In the caption, Kapoor expressed his grief at the loss of his friend. He wrote, "I wish we had more time. I wish I could call you and tell you just one more time how lucky I am to have you in my life. I miss you beyond words Satish. I pray that everyone has a friend like you in their life because you were a true blessing… Happy birthday my friend…"
Actor Gajraj Rao praised Kapoor's tribute in the comments section, while fans expressed their own emotions, with one writing, "When a friend leaves, he takes a big part of life with them and the one left behind stays with the remaining parts. That last dialogue by Satish Ji gives goosebumps."
Satish Kaushik was a well-known actor, best remembered for his roles in films like "Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron" and "Mr. and Mrs. Khiladi." He was also an accomplished filmmaker, directing hits like "Tere Naam" with Salman Khan and "Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai" with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tusshar Kapoor. His final on-screen appearance was in Kangana Ranaut's upcoming film, "Emergency."
