Legendary actress Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor made her acting debut with last year's romantic drama, Dhadak. Now, her second feature film, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, is gearing up for release. This war drama completed its shoot in October this year and will hit the screens on 13 March 2020. Actor Angad Bedi is playing a key role in this film.
Angad, who was earlier seen in films like Soorma, Pink and Tiger Zinda Hai, is all praises for Gunjan Saxena's producer Karan Johar. He says that despite being a big producer in Bollywood, Karan always tried to encourage new talent. Angad also recollected the kind words of Karan after watching the film Soorma.
Angad says that he has an incredible character in Gunjan Saxena and hoped that all the audience will like it as well. The film portrays the story of Indian Air Force fighter pilot Gunjan Saxena, who participated in the 1999 Kargil War. Janhvi once said that she is very fortunate to act in the shoes of Gunjan.
Directed by Sharan Sharma, this film features Pankaj Tripathi, Vineeth Kumar Singh and Manav Vij in other important roles. Karan Johar produced it under Dharma Productions.
