Aapke Hain Koun and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, this is Mr. Bachchan's first time working with the director, though the director worked with Bachchan Junior in Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon, a horribly botched-up puffed-up version of Basu Chatterjee's Chitchor that infuriated Basu da to no end.
Sooraj Barjatya has not directed a film since Prem Ratan Dhan Payo in 2015, and he has only directed one film sans Salman Khan - Vivah (featuring Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao).
