Alphonse Puthren Shares His Wish To See An Ilayaraja Music School
Hitmaker shares on social media his thoughts on legendary musician Ilayaraja. On the other hand, Alphonse himself studies music on the breaks of his shoot as per reports.
Over the years, director Alphonse Puthren has been active on social media and frequently posts his ideas and queries. He made his directorial debut with the Tamil and Malayalam bilingual "Neram." The accomplished filmmaker, who gained fans for his second film, "Premam," which starred Nivin Pauly and Sai Pallavi, has now disclosed that he would like the renowned music composer Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja to open a music school.
Not only that, but he has also indicated that he hopes Ilaiyaraaja appoints renowned musicians Yuvan Shankar Raja and Karthik Raja as teachers at the music school, with Keeravani, AR Rahman, Vidyasagar, Deva, and Anirudh serving as visiting faculty.
He posted, "I wish and pray to the god & goddess of music...that Ilayaraja sir starts a Film Music School and appoint Karthik Raja sir and Yuvan Shankar Raja sir as professors in it. Keeravani sir, A.R.Rahman sir, Vidyasagar sir, Deva sir, and Anirudh bro should be visiting Vaathi's. All types of Music will flourish and prosper. Hope it happens one day."
On the Workfront, he is currently working on Gold starring Prithviraj and Nayanthara, and Paattu starring Fahadh faasil and Nayanthara.
