Allu Arjun’s Film With Venu Sriram, ‘ICON’, Is Reportedly Cancelled
The extensive slate of movies that Allu Arjun has already given the go-ahead to with other Tollywood directors is cited as the secondary reason for his rejection of Venu’s ‘ICON.’
According to Tollywood film circle rumors, director Venu Sriram, who previously helmed Pawan Kalyan's "Vakeel Saab (2021)" and Nani's "MCA" (Middle-Class Abbayi), was working with Allu Arjun on a film titled "ICON." The project was reportedly going to be produced by Dil Raju, but according to the most recent updates, it has been shelved.
Under the supervision of Sukumar Bandreddy, Allu Arjun is now preparing to begin filming the sequel to his blockbuster film "Pushpa." According to reports, the "Pushpa" actor didn't enjoy the Venu Sriram script's narration. Ram Pothineni, an energetic actor, is said to have been approached by filmmaker Venu Sriram over the same matter, although he has not yet received the actor's approval.
The extensive slate of movies that Allu Arjun has already given the go-ahead to with other Tollywood directors is cited as the secondary reason for his rejection of Venu’s project. One example is that following the filming of "Pushpa-2," he will work again with Boyapati Srinu. He is also rumored to be teaming with Koratala Siva.
In contrast, following the phenomenal success of the first installment, the "Pushpa 2" producers are claimed to have revised the script of "Pushpa 2: The Rule," and the movie is expected to be bigger and better with a higher budget than the first installment when it opens in theatres in 2023.
