Prithviraj Sukumaran said that he acted in Gold out of his desire to act in the film of Alphonse Putren. Prithviraj Sukumaran added that important actors have even acted as a character that comes to say a small dialogue in a single shot. Prithviraj Sukumaran also said that 'Gold' is completely an Alphonse Puthren film. Prithviraj Sukumaran was speaking in an interview as part of the promotion of the movie 'Theerppu'.
“I have a line to say about 'Gold', it is an Alphonse Puthren movie. ‘Gold' has the potential to become one of the biggest star cast films in Malayalam. Even the character who speaks a small dialogue in one shot in the film is played by an actor who knows his work. All the actors who have acted in the movie, including me, acted in 'Gold' based on the desire to act in Alphonse Putren's movie. 'Gold' is entirely an Alphonse Putren film,’ said Prithviraj Sukumaran.
Meanwhile, the film Gold is all set to release in theatres this Onam. The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Nayanthara in the lead role. Mallika, Baburaj, Shammi Thilakan, Abu Salim, Ajmal Ameer, Roshan Mathew Ivala Babu and others are also playing the lead roles in the film. Alphonse shared on social media that 'Gold will melt on Onam'. The director of the film, Alphonse Putran, had earlier said that Gold is a film without any innovation and no one should come this way expecting anything.
