After the news of Ranbir Kapoor testing positive for COVID-19, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali too got his reports positive. While Alia Bhatt was already in quarantine and was awaiting her test results, they have finally arrived and are negative. The actress hasn't contracted the virus despite being in touch with her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor and her Gangubai Kathiawadi director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. A source close to the actress told a leading website that though Alia has tested negative, she still has been advised by the doctors to stay under quarantine. Chances are still she might test positive in the following tests.
A few days back, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were completing some final shots of their much-anticipated film Brahmastra. Alia had also been in touch with Sanjay Leela Bhansali whose birthday was a couple of weeks back. She had specially gone to Bhasali's house to wish him on his special day. Apparently, Bhansali too has contracted the virus from the sets of his film.
Earlier this morning, Neetu Kapoor had informed everyone about her son Ranbir's health. She had posted a photo of him on her Instagram handle and had written, "Thank you for your concern and your good wishes. Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well. He is in self-quarantine at home and following all precautions."
