Akshay Kumar to launch a new version of his song Teri Mitti as tribute for healthcare workers

Indian celebrities and stars have gone above and beyond to support the government in its effort against the Coronavirus pandemic. Many stars have also applauded the work done by frontline workers in such difficult times. From Shah Rukh Khan providing PPE kits to healthcare workers in Mumbai to stars like Sonu Sood and Salman Khan feeding the underprivileged, everyone is doing their bit. Now Akshay Kumar has shared that he will be launching a new version of his song Teri Mitti. The song will pay tribute to healthcare workers in the country who are battling the pandemic every day.

 
Akshay Kumar first shared the news on twitter and announced that the song will release on Friday at 12.30 pm. He captioned the post on Instagram writing, "Someone has said it right, in times of difficulty it is our own people who help us out the most. And in our difficult times, our doctors who are fighting are no less than soldiers on the border."
 
In the video, a small clip from the song reads, "Sarhad pe jo ward khaki thee, ab Uska rang Safed Hua."
 
Famous producer and filmmaker Karan Johar also shared the news. He wrote, "They are fighting to keep us safe and for that, we are forever grateful. A tribute from our hearts to theirs, #TeriMitti. Song out tomorrow at 12:30 pm."
 
Previously Akshay Kumar joined hands with stars like Kartik Aaryan, Tiger Shroff, Taapsee Pannu, Kiara Advani, and launched a song titled, Muskurayega India.
