Akshay Kumar was one of the select few Hindi film actors invited to the inaugural Red Sea International Film Festival in 2021. The actor struck up a conversation with Kaleem Aftab, the festival's head of International Programming, about his career, the growth of Bollywood, and how cinema might contribute to cross-border relations. And now, it is also revealed that the Khiladi has received an invitation to the Red Sea Festival's second edition.
As a representative of the Indian film industry, Akshay Kumar will go to Jeddah on December 2 to take part in the prestigious film festival. According to a person familiar with the situation, he would meet with dignitaries and talk about how to promote cross-cultural contact. He will spend one day in Jeddah before flying back to India to resume filming on the biopic of lawyer C. Sankaran Nair being produced by Karan Johar.
Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, and Ranbir Kapoor are some of the other actors who will be present at the event at various times between December 1 and December 10; Akshay will depart for Saudi Arabia tomorrow.
