Director Rohit Shetty took to his Instagram to introduce the new addition to the cast of Sooryavanshi and also stated he has more surprises for fans.
Along with the picture of himself with Jackie from the set, Rohit Shetty captioned the post saying, "Just when you thought you knew all the characters of Our Cop Universe...Presenting to you The Man Himself...JACKIE SHROFF... And...Surprise Abhi bhi baaki hai mere Dost ..@apnabhidu #sooryavanshi.”
Praising Rohit Shetty, Jackie Shroff said to BollywoodHungama: “I have worked with his father Mr. Shetty sahaab whom I respected a lot. I have done a lot of work with him and now working with his son Rohit has been fantastic. He has the story in his head. He is the boy who has come right from the soil. He knows his job and I loved working with him. It is an experience I will never forget. I can’t disclose my character but it's an interesting role.”
He also added, “To be in the same film with all these young stars is fantastic. It is a great opportunity to be part of a film like this, which gives me a lot of strength. It has been a great experience and a fantastic feeling working in Sooryavanshi.”
Sooryavanshi will feature Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in its lead roles. The film which is all set to hit the screens on 27th March and will also feature Ranveer Singh as Simmba and Ajay Devgn as Singham. The trio had also shot for a special sequence of the film in Hyderabad.
