Actor Ajith is now in production on his 61st movie, Thuniv. It is under the direction of H Vinoth. The movie is approching the end of its filming and will soon enter post-production. The movie, which Boney Kapoor produced, is slated to hit theatres in January 2023. Thunivu and Vijay's bilingual "Varisu" will compete at the box office as per reports. But it has not yet been officially confirmed.
Following "Thunivu," Ajith has teamed up with filmmaker Vignesh Shivan for his upcoming film. The untitled film has the working title "AK 62." In May, the official announcement was made. As directed by Vignesh Shivan, Ajith's role has been eagerly anticipated by fans. However, there is yet to be an official announcement on the cast, crew, and production of the movie.
Prior reports stated that Vignesh Shivan had finished the script. As per reports, the pre-production work will start in February 2023. There is a recent rumour that actress Trisha will play the movie's female protagonist. According to reports, Trisha has been approached by the film's producers to play the part of "AK 62's" female lead.
If the rumours are accurate, this will be Trisha's fourth movie with Ajith following "Kreedam", "Yennai Arindhaal" and "Mankatha." On the professional front, Trisha made a triumphant return to Kollywood after four years with the hit "Ponniyin Selvan."
