Ajith and Nayanthara's Billa to release in theatres on March 12

Ajith's ardent fans have expressed their disappointment with the team of Valimai as they have not shared any update regarding the film for more than two years. Recently, both Ajith and producer Boney Kapoor promised the fans that they will soon release an update and asked them to be patient till then. However, Ajith's fans now have a reason to celebrate. The actor's yesteryear hit film Billa, directed by VIshnuvardhan, is all set to re-release in theatres on March 12 across Tamil Nadu. An official announcement came in the form of press release.

A press statement suggested that it has been a long time since Ajith's film released in theatres. His last theatrical release is Viswasam, directed by Siruthaai Siva, which was in 2019. Hence, his superhit film Billa will be screened in theatres from March 12 onwards. Billa, which has Ajith and Nayanthara in the lead roles, is the official reboot of Rajinikanth's Billa. Apart from these two actors, the film also had Prabhu, Rahman, Namitha, Santhanam and John Vijay in important roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the songs for the film.
