Ajay Devgn to direct Amitabh Bachchan in his next directorial project called Mayday, shooting to start soon; Read on

After so many years, veteran actors Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan are going to come together for the upcoming drama film called Mayday. While they both have acted together in films such as Satyagraha, this venture will be Ajay Devgn's directorial film and he will be directing Big B in it. According to a report in a leading website, "Ajay Devgn will not only play the lead in the film along with Big B but also direct the film. This will also be the first time Ajay will be directing Bachchan saab on celluloid. When he was scripting for his next directorial venture, he immediately thought of Amit ji and of and wanted him only for the role. Mayday is a thrilling human story which Big B loved and he agreed to be part of the project, when he got the offer from Ajay."

The source also added that Ajay Devgn will be playing the pilot role in the film. However, no such information is available for the role of Amitabh Bachchan. The actor is currently shooting for his Sony TV quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati and after it'll end, he will start shooting for his film projects. "It is strongly rumoured that Ajay Devgn will be seen playing as pilot. There are no details yet on the Big B's character, which the makers have kept under wraps for the time being.
