Popular filmmaker Surender Reddy hasn't signed any film after his last directorial, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. If the latest grapevine in Tollywood is anything to by, Surender Reddy is planning to do his next film with Akhil Akkineni. We also heard that it will be a power-packed action entertainer.
Even though it has released amidst huge anticipation, Sye Raa failed to live up to all the hype and disappointed the viewers a bit. After that, Surender Reddy planned to do a film with Prabhas but it didn't work out well as the actor didn't want to take another risk after Saaho's debacle. Later, it got reported that Surender is also thinking of working with Varun Tej and it didn't happen due to a few unknown circumstances. Thus, he finally fixed to Akhil for the film.
Akhil is also planning to do an action-packed film for a long time as none of his films really explored the action-angle in him. Currently, the talks are going on between Surender Reddy and Akhil. We will get an official announcement once the actor gives his nod. Right now, Akhil is busy wrapping up the shoot of his next film Most Eligible Bachelor. This film will hit the screens in April.
