After Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, here comes Sheer Qorma which deals with the love story of two women

After the Supreme Court has abrogated Section 377, homosexual marriage and relationships have become legal in Indian. This also paved the path for the new-age filmmakers to come up with seme sex love stories. Less than a week ago, we have seen the release of Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, which deals with the love story between two men. Now, there is a film coming up which deals with the love story of two women, called Sheer Qorma. Divya Dutta and Swara Bhaskar played the lead roles in this movie.

The trailer of this film dropped earlier today on the internet. Going by it, it looks like a love story between Divya and Swara. Veteran actress Shabana Azmi played the role of Divya's mother in this movie. Faraz Arif Ansari is directing this film. Speaking about the film, Faraz said that he chose Divya and Swara as the leads as they are quite celebrated names in the industry and also the strong supporters of the LGBTQ community. He also added that Divya was in his mind right from the writing stages of the script. He also termed that Shabana's character will be like Mother India of 2020. Sheer Qorma will soon premiere in various film festivals across the globe.
