Senthil is one of the leading comedians in the history of Tamil cinema. Recently, we had reported that Senthil has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. He has been admitted to a private hospital in Kaatangulathur, Chennai, for treatment. The doctors who treated Senthil said that he is in a stable condition and continues to improve. They might discharge Senthil in a couple of days.

However, the latest development is worrying. After Senthil, his family members have tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Chandra, Senthil's son released a video saying that he, his mom and his wife have contracted the viral as well. Senthil and his family members are on the road to recovery. Soon, there will be some good news from his family members. During the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections, Senthil toured throughout Tamil Nadu to campaign for the AIADMK and BJP alliance. This could be one of the reasons why he was affected by the virus.
