Actress Nushrat Bharucha says her friend Ayushmann Khurrana encouraged her to share poems

It isn't common place for actors and actresses to reveal much of their personal life. However on the occasion of World Poetry Day, Nushrat Bharucha has shared a few of her poems with her fans and followers after being encouraged by fellow actor Ayushmann Khurrana. She wrote, "Tum jaisi aadat chhod bhi doon... Khud ko khote hue hi sahi...Jhooth ki aankh mein hans bhi doon...Sach pehchaante hue his sahi...Saath hone ka ehsaas dila do agar...Woh nazar humaare naam kar do agar...Sab se churaate hue hi sahi..."

In a recent interview Nushrat Bharucha said that she has written poems for over 3 years now. However she added that she is shy about sharing the poems. She has now revealed that she has shared the poems only because of Ayushmann Khurrana's encouragement.

The actress said that she has written poems every time she travels as it gives her a lot of free time. She also told the interviewer that her grandfather was a shayar himself and inspired her to write poems. She also told the story of the time when she shared some of her poetry with her aunt. She said, "Around three years ago, I made my aunt read some of my writings to get a book of hers so that I could improve my Urdu. I sat by a window, watching her, as she read them. She gave me the book without a comment on my work and my heart sank."

In retrospect the actress says she is glad her aunt did not leave any comments as otherwise she would not develop her own writing style.
