We are already aware the Telugu film industry has set up a Corona Crisis Charity (CCC) fund to raise donations to help the poor cine workers of the industry. Many celebrities have started pouring in donations to this fund to help the daily wage workers and the poor people of the Telugu film industry. Now, actor Sai Kumar and his son Aadi Sai Kumar have donated Rs. 5 lakhs from their side to the CCC fund.
According to the official reports, Sai Kumar has also donated 1,00,008 rupees to the Dubbing Union Association. His younger brother Ravi Shankar has also donated a number of one lakh rupees to help dubbing artists. As Sai Kumar and Ravi Shankar are prominent dubbing artists as well, they decided to help the dubbing association. Recently, Sai Kumar also took part in the Light For India campaign declared by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The actor lit up Diyas along with his wife.
CCC is actively helping the poor cine workers of the industry. They have identified 12000 families and making sure that no one of them is having any problem during this tough time. Till now, the team has collected around 7 crores and is planning to raise more amount in the coming days. As the lockdown might get extended, CCC is planning to raise more amount. All these poor cine workers lost their income source because all shoots got canceled due to the current lockdown. The CCC team includes D. Suresh Babu, Tammareddy Bharadwaj, C. Kalyan, Damu, Meher Ramesh, and N. Shankar.
