Nayanthara's latest movie "Connect" has hit theatres today, on December 22. The horror thriller is directed by Ashwin Saravanan. It has Nayanthara, Sathyaraj, Vinay Rai, and Anupam Kher in the key roles. The movie is released into good responses.
Nayanthara is busy with the promotion of the film. Nayanthara expressed her happiness at completing 20 years in the film industry. She spoke about her experience in the film industey. The actress said that initially, there weren't many female-centric films available. Women weren't given much credit.
Nayanthara also said that the main reason she stopped going to promotional events was similar. It was because heroines weren't treated with respect back then. The actress shared her views on equality in the film industry. She stated that both male and female actors should be treated equally.
Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan announced that they had become parents of two children. The announcement took place on October 9th. After that, Nayanthara took a brief break from her acting profession.
