Actor Sudhakar Komakula claims that he was not driving the car that killed a pedestrian
In a tragic road accident at Chinakakani national highway in Mangalagiri Mandal of Guntur district on Saturday a woman lost her life which was alleged to be driven by the Tollywood’s budding actor Sudhakar. Popularly known for his role in 'Life is Beautiful', Sudhakar Komakula suffered a fracture in the accident on his way to Guntur from Hyderabad as a part of the promotional activities of his latest flick 'Nuvvu Thopuraa’.
Into details, actor Sudhkar, actress Nithya Shetty and his driver Sundara Rao were in the vehicle when it crashed into the female worker, who was watering the plants there. She died after she was hit by the car injuring the three in the car. The woman who died has been identified as Lakshmi Jalasuthram, a local resident of Mangalgiri Mandal.
After facing rife allegations that Sudhakar was himself driving the car during the accident, the actor took to the media to clarify that he was not driving the car and he sat on the front passenger seat. While interacting with the media in Film Chamber On Sunday, Sudhakar said “I hereby want to share what really happened. The public is blaming me for the death of the lady. Her demise has saddened me but I'm not the reason behind this," he added. The actor has promised financial assistance to the Lakshmi's family members.
