Actor Puneet Issar says, 'As you age, you should be graceful' in response to Mukesh Khanna's comments on Sonakshi Sinha.

Mukesh Khanna has started trending once again ever since The broadcast and information minister, Prakash Javadekar announced the comeback of various shows from the 90s on DD National. Among other shows, DD National has brought Shaktimaan and Mahabharata too. Mukesh Khanna stars in both of them and has some strong opinions on those who are not well versed with the Indian mythos. Recently Mukesh Khanna slammed Sonakshi Sinha on social media for now knowing a detail from the Hindu epic Ramayana. Khanna's comments came after Sinha was unable to answer a question on Kaun Banega Crorepati. Now some of Khanna's co-stars have taken offense to his open remarks about famous actress Sonakshi Sinha. Puneet Issar who starred in Mahabharata alongside Mukesh Khanna has now said that his comments don't suit his age.

In a recent interview with a news daily, Issar said, "Khanna shouldn’t have that. Sonakshi is an AVM student, my kids too went there. If she didn’t know one question of Ramayan in KBC, the world doesn’t end there. Why should one condemn someone so openly? At least I wouldn’t have said what Khanna has said." Nitish Bharadwaj also asked Khanna to be more empathetic in an interview with Times of India. He said, “ Why target Sonakshi alone? There’s always a better way to say the same thing. A balanced, soft and empathetic way; and it is received better too.
