The Coronavirus Pandemic continues to raise hell across the nation. It has left thousands of migrant and daily wage workers in financial despair. The Lockdown has had a huge impact on the daily wage workers of all film industries. The Lockdown has cost thousands of daily wage workers their source of income. Recently Actor-Director Pawan Kumar started a fund to help them out. Now, Actor and Politician Nikhil Kumaraswamy have come forward to lend a helping hand.
 
With all the shootings halted indefinitely, the daily wage workers have no intimation as to what their financial state will be. Nikhil Kumaraswamy has recently said that he will be helping the workers by depositing a sum to 3000 workers’ bank accounts. That is to the daily wage workers of production units like lights, makeup, production, unit boys and more.
 
Nikhil Kumaraswamy debuted with the film Jaguar in 2016. He won the SIIMA Award for Best Debutant Actor (Male) - Kannada for the same. The actor is the son of former Chief Minister of Karnataka, HD Kumaraswamy. He has also entered the political field. He contested the Lok Sabha elections in 2019.
 
Recently, the actor was working on a Vijay Kumar Konda's directorial film. The shooting for the bi-lingual film has been put on hold. The film will resume shooting after the COVID-19 crisis subsides. They will come out in two languages - Kannada and Telugu.
