Actor Mirchi Senthil To Star In Docu-Drama Jagame Thandhiram Kathaigal

After enjoying a successful stint in radio, Senthil, who is popularly known as Mirchi Senthil, forayed into television. He rose to prominence by playing the lead role of Saravanan in the Saravanan Meenatchi serial, which was aired on Vijay Television. Currently, he is playing dual roles in Vijay Television's Naam Iruvar Namaku Iruvar. Now, Mirchi Senthil is all set to broaden his horizon as he will feature in a Tamil docu-drama show titled Jagame Thandiram Kathaigal. The crime show will showcase real-life crimes and consists of 30 episodes.

In an interview with Times of India, Senthil said, "I have acted in several serials and hosted a variety of shows, but it is for the first time I am presenting a show like this one. It requires a serious stance so that audiences understand the various facets of society. I am glad that I have this opportunity to explore newer horizons and hopefully, the audiences will also be appreciative of the same. The show’s narrative will have a lot of relatability and recall value to the viewer. The problems shown will reflect the voice of ordinary people like you and me since we would have had someone close experience injustice, or would have faced it ourselves. We aim to create awareness for the audiences to safeguard themselves against social evils.”
