Going by the ongoing trends, it looks like there is no stopping for the coronavirus pandemic anytime soon. The virus is spreading like a wildfire across the world. Even in India, the cases are increasing every day and the death toll is rising up. The entire country is under lockdown and all the major industries got shut down. To help the daily wage workers of the Telugu film industry, the film chamber members have come up with an initiative called Corona Crisis Charity (CCC) fund. This fund got set up under the guidance of
Megastar Chiranjeevi. Almost all Tollywood heroes have extended their financial support towards this fund. The latest addition to this list is action hero Gopichand. The Yagnam actor has donated an amount of Rs. 10 lakhs to the CCC fund.
Apart from this donation,
Gopichand is also sponsoring daily food for 1500 members of an orphanage for a period of two months. The actor has also distributed daily needs and groceries to 2000 families. He is still continuing to do so. It is good of him to provide daily essentials apart from proving the financial donation to the CCC fund. The CCC members are making sure that all the daily wage workers and poor film workers in the industry are getting food and daily essentials during these tough times.
On the career front, Gopichand will be next seen in the film Seetimaarr, which is being directed by Sampath Nandi.
Tamannaah is playing the female lead in this film. It will release towards the end of this year.
