In the fantasy series Ali Baba Dastaan-E-Kabul on SAB TV, star Sheezan Khan will be replaced with Abhishek Nigam. After the passing of his co-star Tunisha Sharma, Sheezan is in detention by the authorities. He is in detention since December 25 on suspicion of aiding suicide. There are rumors that Abhishek will join the show. Also, Tunisha's character may or may not return. The male character is getting a new face with an archaic technology.
On the Ali Baba Dastaan-E-Kabul sets, Tunisha's suicide was discovered on December 24. Tunisha's mother filed a complaint and accused Tunisha's ex-boyfriend Sheezan. The complaint also claimed that Tunisha was subject to assault by Sheezan and was under pressure to convert to Islam. A Mumbai court rejected Shezaan's bail application once more on Friday.
Abhishek has previously appeared in the TV shows Hero Gayab Mode On and Akbar Rakht Se Takht Ka Safar. He co-starred with Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon as Vishwas Rao in Ashutosh Gowariker's Panipat (2019). Other rumors state that Shehzaadi Mariam, the character played by Tunisha, may or may not be recast. The show might debut a new character portrayed by a new actor. Tunisha was rumored to be replaced by actor Avneet Kaur. But her mother said that her daughter would not be appearing in the SAB TV show.
Shafaq and Falaq Naaz, Sheezan's sisters, have made declarations claiming his innocence. At a news conference earlier this month, his attorney and family refuted the accusations made against him. They said Tunisha had a tense relationship with her mother, uncle, and other family members. They disclosed that Tunisha had depression as a result of the traumatic events from her childhood.
